Starting today, publisher Raw Fury is giving some folks another chance to try (and hopefully give feedback for) their upcoming cell-shaded shooter, West of Dead. This time, during a new open beta period that runs until April 13th.
West of Dead, which may or may not be an unintentional crossover between Hellboy and Ghost Rider, is described as being a twin-stick, cover-based shooter set in "a gothic underworld of brimstone, gun smoke and darkness". There, players will assume the role of John Mason (voiced by Ron Perlman, coincidentally), and will have to "shoot, dodge and slide through procedurally generated hunting grounds" as they "try to bring order to chaos." Sounds like a rootin', tootin', albeit mildly spooky good time.

While West of Dead is expected to release later this year on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC, this month's open beta only applies to PS4 and PC.
