Yesterday, a Microsoft Store listing pre-maturely appeared (shocking) for the upcoming Crysis remaster, which was accompanied by a gameplay trailer. Said trailer made its rounds throughout the internet and, unfortunately, didn't exactly wow the pants off of people.
In response to so many intact pants, developer Crytek has decided to delay Crysis Remastered so that they can "take the time on polishing the game."
In this morning's tweet, Crytek tells fans that the delay, allegedly only a matter of weeks, will allow the team to get Crysis Remastered "up to the PC-and-Console-breaking standards you've come to expect from Crysis games."
Pre-orders for the console and PC versions of the game have also been delayed, though Switch owners looking to watch their handheld melt right before their eyes are currently still able to pre-purchase Crysis Remastered.
