It's almost time to rock the vote - for the next official Minecraft biome!

On September 28th, fans will have the opportunity to vote between the Swamp, Mountains, and Badlands biomes, with the victor being included in a future Minecraft update. To give us a glimpse at the Badlands biome aka "one of these things is not like the other", Mojang has released a short video briefly highlighting some of its new additions:

The Badlands, coined the "Radlands", will be made up primarily of terracotta and play host to new wildlife in the form of vultures. But not just any vultures - these are especially vulturous vultures that have an inexplicable affinity for treasure. If that doesn't get you jazzed, the Badlands will also feature some new agriculture, such as dynamic tumbleweeds and an all-new cactus variant.

As for the other two biomes - the Swamp and Mountains - nothing is known yet how they would differentiate from their already-existing counterparts, but chances are we will learn more as Minecon draws closer.
