SkateBIRD as the name might imply, is a game about little birds executing sick tricks across miniature DIY skate parks. Despite popular belief, it would appear that our tiny winged friends are actually quite adept on a board - what with the benefit of being able to fly, which allows for some envy-inducing extended air time.
Announced yesterday at Nintendo's indie-focused "indie World" showcase, SkateBIRD, might possibly be the most wholesome and pure alternative to a Tony Hawk Pro Skater game anyone could ask for. And just look at those little hats!
The only thing that could possibly make SkateBIRD even more ideal is a soundtrack made up of early 2000's punk jams, but a rapidly aging emo kid can hope.
SkateBIRD is scheduled for release on the Switch in late-2020.
