Well, whatever Project Resistance is, it's definitely not a sequel to Resident Evil: Outbreak.
The teaser, which was released on the Resident Evil Youtube earlier this morning, certainly appears to reaffirm everyone's original theory that Project Resistance is going to be a co-op shoot-em-up more akin to Left 4 Dead than a traditional Resident Evil experience.
Capcom will be revealing more details about Project Resistance later this week during the Tokyo Game Show, so hopefully we'll get some clarity on what type of game it is, where it fits into the hashtag lore, and the identity of that clearly-sinister shadowy figure that can apparently control Mr. X with a pair of VR gloves.
