Good news, everyone! The Wolf Among Us 2 is back in development after being in literal development hell since Telltale's closure back in 2018.

LCG Entertainment, the company that now owns the rights to Telltale's branding, assets, and IPs, announced during this evening's Game Awards that their first title to be released since the acquisition would be the sequel to 2013's The Wolf Among Us - a move that many, myself included, are considerably excited about.

Perhaps the best news of all, besides from the fact that the game is actually happening, is that The Wolf Among Us 2 is being developed by AdHoc Studios, which consists of several key members from the game's original team. This includes writer Pierre Shorette, directors Nick Herman and Dennis Lenart, composer Jared Emerson-Johnson, and voice actors Adam Harrington and Erin Yvette.

I'd say that it's nothing short of a Christmas miracle that a Telltale Games title is in the works right now, considering the shit-show surrounding the company's untimely end in late 2018.

The Wolf Among Us was an episode murder-mystery game based on DC Comic's Fable series. While it didn't quite reach Telltale's The Walking Dead levels of status, the game was still considered to be one of the studio's best.

There's no release date as of yet, but we already know that The Wolf Among Us 2 will be an Epic Store exclusive title at launch.
