We're now fully in the swing of the "Summer of 2020 Online E3 Replacements But Everyone is Doing It." While not necessarily a bad thing, there's a lot to try to keep up with and follow. We have things like Summer Game Fest which seek to act like a central hub for these events, which is great but doesn't cover everything. Between trying to find the time to watch Inside Xbox's approximately 30 cumulative seconds of actual gameplay footage and getting ready for finding out how much EA will charge us for new surprise mechanics, a lot of us are realizing that there are a lot of events to keep track of and not all of them will be worth our time. Announced today was one that really caught my attention: Guerrilla Collective. Guerrilla Collective brands itself as "Online digital games festival to reveal fresh announcements, trailers and reveals from some of the hottest publishers and developers around the world!"

Guerrilla Collective is the product of Media Indie Exchange and Kinda Funny. Starting on June 6 Kinda Funny's Greg Miller will be hosting the 3-day Twitch expo which has a pretty star-studded cast of attendees, including:

  • 11 bit studios (credits include Frostpunk, This War of Mine)
  • Another Indie (SIMULACRA 2, Yuppie Psycho)
  • Coffee Stain Studios (Satisfactory, Deep Rock Galactic)
  • Fellow Traveller (In Other Waters, Neo Cab)
  • Funcom (Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden, Conan Exiles)
  • Good Shepherd Entertainment (John Wick Hex, The Eternal Cylinder)
  • Headup (Bridge Constructor Portal, Pumpkin Jack)
  • Humble Publishing (Temtem, Forager)
  • Larian Studios (Baldur’s Gate III, Divinity: Original Sin II)
  • Modern Wolf (Necronator: Dead Wrong, Out There: Oceans of Time)
  • Paradox Interactive (Cities: Skylines, Stellaris)
  • Raw Fury (Kingdom Two Crowns, Atomicrops)
  • Rebellion (Sniper Elite 4, Zombie Army 4: Dead War)
  • Those Awesome Guys (Monster Prom, Move or Die, Floppy Knights)
  • Thunderful (SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech, Lonely Mountains: Downhill)
  • United Label (Eldest Souls, Röki)
  • Versus Evil (The Banner Saga, Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire)
  • Whitethorn Games (Aground, StarCrossed)
  • WINGS Interactive (Later Daters, Lord Winklebottom Investigates)
  • Ysbryd Games (WORLD OF HORROR, VA-11 HALL-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action)
  • ZA/UM (Disco Elysium)

Those are some heavy-hitting studios, and having them all under one event looks to be one particularly spicy show. While there's yet to be any word on if anything in particular will be announced at Guerrilla Collective, with such a lineup there is certain to be something exciting.

Guerrilla Collective goes live on June 6th on their official Twitch page. For updates in the meantime check out their website, Twitter, and Facebook (if you're into that sort of thing. I don't judge.)
