Origin's Big O is the hyper-indulgent Swiss-Army Knife of gaming

In celebration of Origin's 10 year anniversary, the company known for their custom-built Gaming PC beef patties decided it would be fun and worth while to build a single machine that contains all current-generation consoles and a gaming rig that could strip the paint off of Crysis.

The Big O is both elegant and indulgent, and its architects over at Origin should feel as ashamed as they do accomplished. Housed within the PC chassis equivalent of a sports car, you will find majestically displayed the innards of a PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, Nintendo Switch, and a decked-out gaming rig - all of which that are cooled by a custom-built cooling system Mr. Freeze would be proud of. While the included Nintendo Switch is a standard version of the handheld, it does get a custom docking area that is appropriately reminiscent of an N64 cartridge bay.

In terms of the parts used to make up the remainder of Big O, everything is top notch, disgustingly customized, and best of market. The folks over at Origin weren't pulling any of the stops for their creation, but that's to be expected for what is essentially a publicity stunt geared toward commemorating 10 years of building high-performance PCs. That is to say, unfortunately, that if anyone was hoping to get their hands on one of these, I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news - you can't. The Big O is exactly that - a stunt, and will (thankfully) not be available to purchase now or in the future.

If you're saddened by this news, just remember that the imminent cloud-based streaming future is coming to relieve us all of our need for hardware - whether we like it or not.
