With the pandemic rendering social gatherings either unlawful, or at the very least, sternly frowned upon, developers and publishers have been exploring new ways to connect with fans without the need for flashy physical events to generate hype for their upcoming projects. In the latest example of this ongoing paradigm shift, Ubisoft has just announced its own digital-only showcase, called Ubisoft: Forward.

According to the company's press release, Ubisoft: Forward will offer a "E3-style showcase", and will feature "plenty of exclusive game news, exciting reveals, and much more".

The event is scheduled for July 12th, which gives us plenty of time to speculate about what games will be showcased. Perhaps we'll get an update on Beyond Good and Evil 2? Realistically, I'd imagine that most of the focus will be on Assassin's Creed Vahalla, which is without a doubt the publisher's biggest title this year. Then of course we'll likely get an overly gratuitous look at the next Just Dance, because apparently that series is still highly successful.

Anyway, what games are you hoping to see at Ubisoft: Forward?
