And with that, we've finally come full circle from rumor, to leak, to this morning's official announcement that Resident Evil 3 Remake is indeed on its way, and it's even coming sooner than expected - April 3rd 2020.
Additionally, Capcom has quietly announced that Resident Evil: Resistance, the 4v1 asymmetrical online multiplayer game set in the Resident Evil universe, is now being rolled into RE3 as bonus content rather than receiving a standalone release. It's unclear why the company decided to go in this direction, but it likely has something to do with the spinoff's lukewarm reception.
In any case, here's a new trailer for Resident Evil 3 that takes us right back to ground zero where Raccoon City's personal-pan apocalypse is in full swing and Nemesis has a hard on for S.T.A.R.S.
