As they say - "an unannounced game is only as real as its box art". Oh wait, that's actually not a thing? Well let us just once assume that it is, because despite some credible speculation of a Resident Evil 3 Remake being in the works having made its way through the news-sphere last week, these newly leaked images of the game's box art are all but a confirmation that Resident Evil 3 Remake is, indeed, real.
This new wave of sweet, sweet, gossip comes by way of Gamestat (Thanks, ResetEra) - an online service that keeps tabs on all new stuff being added to the Playstation Network.
On both the English and Japanese versions of the game's box art, a reworked Nemesis can be seen looming over the game's two main protagonists - Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliveira - both of which who have also received a significant makeover. Is it just me, or is Carlos giving off some serious Shane from The Walking Dead vibes?
Now that the T-Virus injected cat is out of the bag, it's only a matter of time before Capcom comes out with its own details for the still-yet-to-be-officially-announced Resident Evil 3 Remake.
