Rainbow Six Siege: Grand Larceny Event

Rainbow Six Siege's latest limited-time event, dubbed "The Grand Larceny Event", is all about celebrating the golden age of gangsters, back when no-do-gooders would rob you blind, but they would do so looking sophisticated and well-groomed.

Starting today, players can partake in a new mode that allows them to live out their best Peeky Blinders-esque fantasy in a deadly game of smash-n-grab called "The Stolen Goods". In it, the attacking team will fashionably arrive on the premises, which in this case is a modified version of the old Hereford Base map, and attempt to take it for all its worth. Meanwhile, the defenders will be holed up with the sole objective of preventing this from happening.

Players on either side will be provided with shotguns as their primary weapon. This, paired with an absence of metal beams that would otherwise reinforce breakable surfaces, means that players can essentially set up kill holes all over the map. Needless to say, everything about this new game mode is intended to turn the fight into an absolute bloodbath.

Participants in the event, which runs between now and May 19th, will also have the opportunity to collect some choice 1920's era attire for their favorite operators.
