So the rumors were true - Baldur's Gate 3 is in the works and will be a launch title for Google Stadia.
What began as a fairly convincing dataleak has now been officially confirmed - Larian Studios is helming the Baldur's Gate sequel, which will be taking the best elements of their Divinity series and merging them with Dungeons & Dragons.
Here's what Larian Studios had to say about the announcement:
Baldur’s Gate III will push the boundaries of the RPG genre and offer a rich narrative with unparalleled player freedom, high-stakes decisions, unique companion characters and memorable combat. It is Larian Studios’ biggest production ever and will be playable together with friends or as a single-player adventure.
As if I needed more reason to be excited for a new Baldur's Gate, they went ahead and got me even harder by pointing out that there will be co-op. Since I can't seem to get my friends to play Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition with me, I will have to settle for this instead.
