Borderlands 2 Lilith

It only takes a moment, but thanks to modern-day magic such as caching and screen grabbing, there is no leak - regardless of how briefly it surfaces - that can escape the internet's prying tentacles. With the recent unintended (I'm assuming) publishing of a Steam page advertising new Borderlands 2 DLC, this observation has never felt more evident.

Naturally, the page did not stick around for long and was swiftly taken down, but not before the folks at Resetera could procure all the information they needed to blast it into the web. Its' title - "Commander Lilith & The Fight For Sanctuary" - was pulled directly from the now-delisted Steam page, and included a description that reads as follows:

Return to the award winning shooter-looter for a new adventure that sets the stage for the upcoming Borderlands 3. Sanctuary is under siege, the Vault’s map has been stolen and a toxic gas is poisoning Pandora. Fight new bosses, explore new zones, get new loot (including an entirely new tier beyond Legendary) and join up with Lilith and the Crimson Raiders to take on a deranged villain hell-bent on ruling the planet Returning players can pursue an increased level cap of 80, while newcomers can automatically boost to level 30 and dive straight into the action.

Judging by its description, this last-minute DLC will depict the events that ultimately forced, or strongly suggested, that our heroes blast off into space on a rocket ship to start a new life of interstellar vault hunting.
