We all knew it was coming, especially with the advent of Rockstar's own very special PC launcher. But now it's official: Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PC on November 5th, over a full year after the game's October 26th, 2018 console release. The official release on Rockstar's own website says:

Today, we're proud to announce that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PC on November 5th, with special bonuses available to players who pre-purchase through the Rockstar Games Launcher starting October 9th.

Those special bonuses for pre-ordering through Rockstar's launcher basically amounts to Rockstar throwing GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas at you, in addition to Bully, L.A. Noire, and Max Payne 3. So, that's pretty neat. Normally I'd throw in the disclaimer to never pre-order, however Red Dead 2 has had a full year to be known as a game that's pretty alright, I guess and that is a pretty damn fair chunk of freebies from the back catalogue. I, for one, will probably be buying it since I never got around to buying it on console and I'm more than a little interested in how well the game will use PC horsepower.
