It seems the Pokémon brand is looking to get in on that sweet, money-raking MOBA action. Pokémon UNITE, which was announced this morning at a truly un-godly hour (about 6AM PST), takes its gameplay cues from genre staples such as League of Legends and DOTA.

Yesterday, Microsoft announced that they are shutting down the Mixer streaming service and partnering with Facebook Gaming. It was a bombshell announcement, and one that will no doubt yield lasting ramifications. However, following the initial shock, Xbox One owners were left pondering what exactly that meant for their console's built-in integration with the soon-to-be-defunct service.

Square Enix has announced that the upcoming Marvel's Avengers will be available at launch for both Xbox Series X and PS5, making it one of the few confirmed next-gen titles players can dive into on day one. Additionally, those who own the game for either PS4 or Xbox One will be able to upgrade to their next-gen counterparts free-of-charge.

Dying Light 2's narrative designer ,Chris Avellone, has been dismissed by developer Techland. This comes days after sexual harassment allegations surfaced on social media, which described Avellone as an "abusive, abrasive, conniving sexual predator."

Finally, the 'coot is out of the bag. After a series of leaks that all but solidified its existence, publisher Activision has formally announced that Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time will arrive October 2nd, 2020 for Xbox One and PS4. Additionally, an Xbox Series X version is in the works, but no release date has been set.

Let's face it, if something exists in the physical world, chances are that somewhere, someone has sexualized it. Perhaps it's part of human nature to see something and immediately want to personify it, or maybe Freud was right and we are all just various shades of closeted perverts.
